Casual Registered Nurse

Job Duties Available shifts include: 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, and 11:00pm-7:00am. Every other weekend only! (holidays as needed). Shift Differential Pays: 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm): $3.00 3rd Shift (11pm-7am): $2.00 Weekends: additional $1.00 + shift differential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of Unit Managers and Director of Nursing within the scope of RN practice. Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with facility policy. Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer processes. Work in partnership with nursing Admins team, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members to deliver comprehensive care. Perform resident assessments and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse or provider. Document all care, assessments, treatments, and observations in accordance with regulatory and facility standards in the Point Click Care system. Assist with care planning and ensure care is delivered according to individualized plans. Provide wound care and other nursing procedures as needed. Maintain infection control standards and promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment. Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff while showing patience and empathy. Support and guide LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care and adherence to policies. Qualifications Registered Nurse credential. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric settings (preferred but not required). Valid state RN license. Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills. Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
