Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac populations. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Minimal requested time off (RTO) during assignment.

Highlights:

• Float across Progressive Care and Intermediate Care Units specializing in cardiac patient populations
• Manage complex cardiac cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain evaluations, and cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• May also care for telemetry patients with lower acuity levels within the same units
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple units and patient care settings

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Georgia or compact state license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
• Progressive Care Unit or Intermediate Care experience with cardiac patient populations strongly preferred
• Experience managing cardiac drips and high-acuity telemetry patients
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
