Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position in Largo, FL. This role requires providing specialized radiologic services focusing on minimally invasive procedures performed under guidance of imaging technology. The position offers a dynamic work environment supporting advanced equipment and technology in a busy medical unit.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift with 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid radiologic technologist certification, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred, minimum 1 year of relevant experience, Florida licensure, and local or state-specific practice requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-Arm procedures, familiarity with GE imaging equipment, and prior IR procedure experience
• Additional Information:
  • The assignment includes working in a diagnostic radiology unit specializing in interventional procedures such as ED exams and fluoroscopy.
  • The work environment supports independent functioning, with a staffing ratio of one technologist during night shifts and additional staffing during day shifts.
  • The unit utilizes GE portable and fluoroscopy equipment, along with Meditech electronic medical records.
  • Candidate will be scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotation basis in accordance with facility policies.
