The Role

We are not looking for a desk manager; we are looking for a hunter.

As our Outside Sales Representative covering key industrial corridors across the TOLA or Great Lakes region, you will be the boots on the ground, responsible for aggressive market acquisition. You will be prospecting, cold-calling, and walking factory floors to win net-new business with OEMs, panel builders, and distributors. You will be pitching top-tier, European-engineered components (Relays, Contactors, Power Supplies, Circuit Breakers, Surge Protection, and DIN rail products) that compete aggressively on both quality and price.

What You Will Do

• Hunt for New Business: Actively prospect and close new accounts across your designated regional corridor.

• Hit the Road: Travel extensively (up to 75%) within your territory for face-to-face customer visits, product demos, and relationship building.

• Expand the Network: Build out a robust pipeline of OEMs, panel builders, and distribution partners.

• Own the Territory: Operate with high autonomy to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and drive revenue.

• Be the Face of the Brand: Represent ELKO EP North America at major industry trade shows and events.

Who You Are

• Based in the Territory: You currently reside in the TOLA or Great Lakes region (TX, OK, LA, AR, IL, IN, MI, MN, NY, OH, PA, WI).

• The Sweet Spot (2–5 Years Experience): You are an up-and-coming sales professional with 2 to 5 years of proven B2B field sales experience. You are hungry, coachable, and ready to scale your income.

• Technical Aptitude: You have a solid, working understanding of industrial automation, electrical components, relays, or switchgear. You know your way around a control panel.

• Road Warrior Mentality: You are highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable spending the majority of your week in the field rather than behind a screen.

• Closer: You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with relentless follow-through.
