Details for Journeyman Electrician Position:

• $25-30 / Hour

• Monday - Friday | 6:30am - 3:30pm

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

• May involve construction sites, outdoor work, ladders, confined spaces, lifting materials, and occasional evening, weekend or overtime work

Job Duties for Journeyman Electrician Position:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications

• Install and connect wiring, conduit, lighting, outlets, panels, controls, and electrical equipment

• Test and troubleshoot circuits and equipment and complete repairs

• Safely use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment

• Ensure completed work meets applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards

• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, clients, and other trades

• Guide apprentices and helpers and reinforce safe work practices

• Keep work areas, tools, and job records organized

• Follow all policies and procedures in place

• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Journeyman Electrician Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Current journeyman electrician license or certification required where applicable

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent trade experience

• Working knowledge of electrical theory, plans, tools, safety practices, and applicable codes

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and work independently or with a crew

• Ability to stand occasionally, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 25 lbs
