ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work out of our Indianapolis office. This is a fully on site M-F role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting customers via phone, email, customer portal and other methods. This role must be able to use critical thinking to help customers work through their questions regarding billing and service. This team member will work with multiple departments within the company to facilitate communication, collaboration with CertaSite leadership, fellow Finance team members, and other support agents. This role is fast-paced and demanding with high visibility within the company. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

\n

\n
• Making phone calls, sending emails and communicating with customers on open invoices due to CertaSite
\n
• Research customer questions to help resolve issues and secure payment of invoices.
\n
• Communicate with operations team members, both locally and at branch locations across the Midwest to provide answers and feedback regarding customer communications.
\n
• Cross-train in operating various systems to update customer records and provide customers with necessary information regarding invoices.
\n
• Reconcile high dollar, high volume customer accounts between billings, payments and adjustments.
\n
• Cross-train in Sage Intacct to aid in Cash Application as needed.
\n
• Maintain minimum customer contacts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
\n
• This position is onsite in our Corporate Office. Must be willing to make a daily commute.
\n
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n
• 2 or more years relevant Accounts Receivable/Collections experience in a fast-paced work environment.
\n
• Excellent communication skills to follow through and follow up on open items.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Well-organized.
\n
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
\n
• Good math/numerical ability to analyze customer billings.
\n
• Proficient in Word and Outlook.
\n
• Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables and V-lookups knowledge a plus)
\n
• Sage Intacct experience not required, but a plus.
\n

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Overtime hours may be required at month end and as requested, controlled climate, office environment, occasional work from home options, required to sit for long periods of time, 8 or more hours per day, frequently required to use monitor, keyboard, mouse and phone
