Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and supporting effective return to community activities
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
• Pelvic Health Certification required: Herman and Wallace or APTA Pelvic Health Certification
• Experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist (new graduates will not be considered)
• Ability to complete documentation and goal writing in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and professional codes of conduct

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in outpatient or clinic-based therapy settings with a pelvic health patient population
• Demonstrated engagement in continuing education, professional development, and involvement in professional organizations
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives
