If you're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for preventive care and patient education, and you're eager to be part of a team that values compassion and excellence, we'd love to have you on board!General Responsibilities:Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and periodontal probing as needed for patients.Provide thorough oral hygiene instruction and preventative care techniques to patients.Apply topical anesthesia, as recommended or required, to prepare patients for dental procedures.Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.Expose radiographs and assess dental health at appropriate intervals.Order, organize, and stock dental supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of dental health education or preventative programs for patients.Participate in research projects and conduct needs assessment surveys to improve patient care and community oral health.Other duties as assigned to support the overall function of the practice.Administer local anesthesia, if certified.Screen for signs of decay, gum disease, and oral cancer, and report findings to the dentist.Education/Experience:Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.Proficient in dental hygiene techniques, including scaling, root planing, and periodontal probing.Knowledge of dental radiography, sterilization protocols, and infection control practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients in oral health practices.Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate flexibility.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.PanCare provides a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental and vision insurance.
