Co-Teacher for The Weekday School
Location: The Riverside Church in the City of New York (New York, NY)
Reports to: Head of Weekday School
Department: Weekday School
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000 commensurate upon experience
Job Description: We are seeking a warm, dependable co-teacher to join our play-based preschool serving three year old children. In this role, you'll partner with the lead teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom, support daily routines, document children's learning, and communicate kindly with families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborating on emergent curriculum
- maintaining a tidy, welcoming environment
- participating in occasional school events
Minimum Position Requirements
- Bachelor's in Education or a Master's in Education.
- New York State Teaching Certificate, highly preferred.
- CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain.
