Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General (Ultrasound) in the en_US location. This position involves performing high-quality adult echocardiography studies in a premier cardiac center, with a focus on TAVR TTE procedures for critically stenotic aortic patients. The role emphasizes patient comfort, accurate imaging, and ensuring studies meet clinical standards.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA); High School Diploma or GED required; experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography; experience with TAVR TTE procedures specifically for severe to critical aortic stenosis patients.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Requirements: Must have TAVR TTE experience scanning pre-treatment patients with critical aortic stenosis; demonstrated proficiency in valvular assessment, spectral Doppler, Pedoff skills, contrast echocardiography, and agitated saline studies.
• Preferred Qualifications: TEE and Stress Echo experience; familiarity with 3D echo imaging; experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols; maintaining ICAEL-accredited echo lab standards; experience with Philips ie33 and Epiq systems; familiarity with Epic hospital information system.
• Submission notes: Candidates must detail their specific experience scanning severe to critical aortic stenosis patients undergoing TAVR procedures on their Submission Cover Sheet under "Previous Relevant Experience." Candidates lacking this information will be rejected.
