Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist in all areas of the operating room, including cross-training to Endoscopy.
  
  
• 
  Operate and monitor advanced surgical equipment such as Baxter pumps and robotic systems like Phillips and Dynomap.
  
  
• 
  Manage patient sedation and anesthesia support in accordance with ACLS protocols.
  
  
• 
  Participate in call rotation, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday shifts, up to 24 hours per period.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including verification of unexpired drivers licenses for all candidates.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid and unexpired drivers license required for all candidates.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in various surgical specialties with proficiency in all OR areas, including Endo.
  
  
• 
  Familiarity with robotic surgery systems, especially DaVinci, is highly preferred.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical skills in vascular, general, ortho, neuro, eyes, and ENT surgeries.
