Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric CVICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and flexibility for on-call and float assignments.

Details

• Work in a new and specialized 8-bed Pediatric CVICU connected to a 14-bed PICU
• Care for pediatric cardiac patients both pre and post-operatively
• Collaborate closely with surgical and intensivist teams
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• On-call availability required
• Flexible scheduling needed to accommodate surgical cases
• Float required to PICU, general Pediatrics, and NICU

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Pediatric cardiac ICU experience required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide specialized pre and post-operative cardiac care to pediatric patients
• Work as part of a close-knit surgical and intensivist care team
• Subject to a facility radius rule which may affect pay rate for local candidates
• Local candidates accepted, though rate may be reduced based on proximity
