About the Role:

Join our vibrant team at SWEET DREAMS & FAIRY TALES as a Preschool Teacher, where you will inspire young minds through creative play and learning. Located in the heart of Philadelphia, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Facilitate a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration.
• Assess and monitor individual student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and needs.
• Organize and participate in daily activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
• Encourage creativity through arts, crafts, and storytelling activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Valid state teaching certification for preschool education.
• Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
• Passion for fostering a positive learning environment and nurturing young minds.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
