Location: Fort Worth, TX, US Manager, Category Management General Overview Functional Area: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Career Stream: Purchasing (SCM_PUR) Role: Manager 2 Job Title: Manager, Supply Chain Purchasing 2 Job Code: MG2-SCM-PUR Job Level: Level 10 Direct/Indirect Indicator: Indirect Summary The Manager, Category Management is instrumental in supporting the shaping of our indirect procurement strategy and driving adoption within the organization. The incumbent possesses a strong background in category management, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to teamwork and ingenuity, contributing to significant savings and optimized spend. Detailed Description Manage one to two indirect categories, representing approximately $50M of spend. Develop and execute strategic category plans (40% strategic planning, 60% hands‑on execution). Drive savings initiatives and optimize spend under management. Improve procurement cycle times for assigned categories. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of indirect procurement processes. Travel globally approximately 10% of the time. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a global, fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Ivalua is a plus. Typical Experience 3-5 years of specific experience in category management. Typical Education Bachelor’s degree in related field (Commerce, Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
