House Supervisor

Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: White Hall, AR

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care in a behavioral health setting for both adult and geriatric patients. This role involves crisis stabilization, verbal de-escalation, and emergency physical intervention skills. The RN will also float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate patient needs.
• Utilize crisis management techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Engage in milieu management to provide a safe therapeutic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the acute behavioral health setting.
• Expertise in crisis stabilization, including verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Handle With Care certification preferred.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is required.
