We’re partnering with a school district in Kitsap County, Washington to hire dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll provide school-based speech-language services to help students strengthen communication and language skills so they can fully access and participate in their educational environment. Position Details: Location: In-person (On-site) — Kitsap County, WA Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours/week (hours not to exceed weekly) School Year: 2026/2027 Caseload: Approximately 45 Responsibilities: Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders Conduct screenings and use standardized assessments for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication Develop and implement service plans aligned to student goals (IEP/504), with measurable outcomes Provide direct therapy (individual and/or small group) to address student needs Support students using Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) as appropriate Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and classroom success Provide classroom strategies and consultation to help generalize communication skills across settings Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Ensure services align with applicable federal/state guidelines (including IDEA requirements) Qualifications : Active Washington Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain licensure for WA) School-based and/or pediatric experience (preferred) Knowledge of IEP/504 processes and collaborative service delivery in educational settings (preferred) Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with school teams and families Ability to work on-site and maintain timely documentation/progress reporting What We Offer: Competitive pay and benefits package Access to a wide network of schools and districts for diverse placement options Streamlined hiring process to get you started quickly Ongoing communication and advocacy throughout your placement Personalized support from dedicated recruiting professionals Opportunities for professional growth and development Why Apply?
