Port Charlotte, FL General Anesthesiologist Job with AdventHealth

AdventHealth Port Charlotte is seeking  Board-Certified General Anesthesiologists to join our expanding anesthesia department in Port Charlotte, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for physicians who value a collegial team environment and the ability to help shape a growing program.

Our anesthesia service model consists of five physicians and an experienced team of full time and per-diem CRNAs. With the recent transition to AdventHealth, the hospital is actively expanding services and recruiting additional specialties, creating exciting opportunities for growth and program development. Medical Directorship opportunities are available.

Position Highlights

• Week work shifts in the hospital: approx. 7a-5p (10-hour shifts)

• 50 post-call days off annually & only 150 clinical shifts per year

• Anesthesia Care team of experienced Physicians and CRNAs

• Medical supervision practice model
• Supportive leadership and positive team culture
• A mix of General & Vascular Surgery, Colorectal, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery (no Peds)
• 6 OR, 2 Endo, + 1 OB (+2 additional ORs being built)

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Florida medical licensure
