Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Overview:

The Mechanical Engineer applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or systems.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, develops, and evaluates mechanical systems and components
Improves and maintains existing systems or contributes to new project development
Designs and drafts technical drawings and specifications
Conducts site visits as needed and supports project coordination
Applies engineering principles and analyses within the scope of assigned projects
Performs work under general supervision
Addresses moderately complex technical issues and escalates more complex matters when appropriate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
4+ years of relevant experience
Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Solid mathematical and analytical abilities
Proficiency with relevant computer and engineering software
Technical aptitude with strong attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
