Pay: $11.00 – $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available
Experience Required: Minimum 6 months (personal or professional)
Education: High School Diploma or GED

Job Description

SYNERGY HomeCare of Southeast Texas is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care for clients throughout the Southeast Texas area. Whether you have experience caring for a loved one or have worked professionally as a caregiver, we welcome individuals who are dedicated to helping others live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and support in the client’s home

• Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and activities

• Support mental alertness with engaging, client-centered activities

• Provide emotional support and encouragement

• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment

• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, linens, basic cleaning)

• Prepare and serve meals and clean the kitchen afterward

• Assist with grooming and dressing

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and walks

• Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications

• Observe and report changes in client condition to a supervisor

• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and team members

• Complete accurate documentation of care provided

• Participate in training, staff meetings, and care discussions

• Follow all safety, confidentiality, and company policies

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience

• Reliable transportation

• Valid Texas Driver’s License and current auto insurance

• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable, patient, and detail-oriented

• Ability to pass a background check
