Job Description

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical cases by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical facilities, confirming patient positioning, and managing instrument transfers during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative support, which includes medication administration, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
