Human Resources Manager

Manufacturing Environment | Plant Leadership Role | 450+ Employee Facility

Our client is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations within a large manufacturing facility. This role partners closely with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, talent development, employee relations, and HR compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting manufacturing teams and hourly workforces while serving as a strategic HR partner to operations leadership.

What You'll Do

Lead day-to-day HR operations for a large manufacturing facility
Partner with plant leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development
Support recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
Manage HR processes including performance management, compensation, benefits coordination, and workforce reporting
Lead employee investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive, high-performance culture
Utilize HR metrics and data to support continuous improvement and business decisions

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
5+ years of Human Resources leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience supporting large manufacturing workforces (400+ employees preferred)
Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR operations
Experience partnering with plant leadership and production teams
Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms is a plus
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Experience supporting large manufacturing workforces (400+ employees preferred)
Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and HR operations
Experience with HRIS systems (SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar) is a plus

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
