Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Description:

Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit responsible for providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients' postoperative status and adapt care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure patient recovery and comfort.
  • Manage post-operative care including pain management and vital signs monitoring.
  • Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia personnel to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of PACU and PreOp experience.
  • KS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
  • Preferred: Previous travel experience.
  • Must be nicotine-free.
