Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students in an educational setting as a contract paraprofessional. Working two days a week—Tuesdays and Wednesdays—you’ll contribute meaningfully for 5.5 hours each day, providing vital assistance in classroom activities, instructional support, and individualized attention to students. This 11-hour-per-week position is an excellent fit for those seeking a part-time schedule within the education field while making a genuine impact on students' development.

What You’ll Bring:

Valid paraprofessional certification (Para cert required)
Previous experience supporting educators or students in a school environment is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff
Demonstrated patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic settings
Dependability and professionalism, especially in following schedules and directives

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in delivering instructional activities and classroom management
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
Support students with special needs in accessing curriculum and participating in class
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners
Help with classroom preparation, materials, record-keeping, and supervision
