Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of applied experience.
• We require 2+ years of experience leading technologists to resolve complex technical issues within your area of expertise.
• We need experience managing teams of technologists at different seniority levels.
• We expect the ability to coach and guide teams toward goals aligned with strategic priorities.
• We require experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools, including governance, human-in-the-loop checks, quality gates, outcome measurement, and secure handling of sensitive inputs and outputs.
• We need a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, resiliency, security, and control expectations.
• We expect experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
• We require expert-level coding experience with Java full stack, React, and Next.js.
• We require strong hands-on AWS experience, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
• We require experience building secure external-facing applications using secure coding practices.
• We expect strong technical leadership and mentoring experience in an Agile environment.
• Preferred: experience with content management systems.
• Preferred: experience in a very large financial services or banking technology environment.

• We provide direction, oversight, and coaching to a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers working on basic to moderately complex work.
• We make decisions that shape team resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution of processes and procedures.
• We set and scale operating practices for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and SDLC/TLM automation across multiple teams to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational results.
• We establish measurable expectations such as throughput, defect reduction, and reliability, while ensuring validation, security, resiliency, and reuse of proven patterns.
• We apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain capabilities, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation, to improve efficiency and unlock team capacity.
• We prioritize reuse of existing firm technology assets.
• We ensure strong collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
• We identify and mitigate issues to keep the book of work moving forward, escalating where needed.
• We provide leadership with input on budget, approach, and technical considerations to improve operational efficiency and functionality.
• We develop and enhance the content platform using Java full stack technologies, React, and Next.js.
• We enable content lifecycle capabilities through a headless content API across digital channels.
• We lead the team in building secure external-facing applications, applying secure coding practices and using AI agents efficiently to address friction points.
• We design solutions with modularity, performance, resiliency, scalability, and other non-functional requirements in mind.
• We design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS.
