About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead the creation and management of a global, enterprise-wide security program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the protection of information assets, including the development of strategies, policies, and frameworks related to application security, infrastructure security, compliance, and security operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the trust of the company's customers, who rely on the organization to safeguard their most sensitive data. The CISO will also be a key figure in the leadership team, instilling a culture of security and mentorship, and will be expected to have a strong background in corporate security, operational security, product security, and regulatory frameworks. Applicants for the Chief Information Security Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role at a global business. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and hold professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar. Key responsibilities include driving the security risk management program, serving as a cybersecurity expert for senior management, and managing a team of security professionals. The CISO will also be involved in security policy communication, compliance monitoring, and incident response. A passion for hiring and mentoring security talent, as well as the ability to build strong relationships both internally and with external partners, is essential.
