Critical Care Travel Registered Nurse

Role Overview: An experienced registered nurse is sought for a travel nursing position requiring critical care expertise. The role involves floating across multiple ICU units, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in diverse critical settings. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services across various ICU units. Float between units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and competence in multiple specialties. Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain certifications, including ACLS and BLS. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and ensure patient safety and comfort. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 24 months of critical care experience, including 3 months in the last year. Travel experience required, with proficiency in Epic electronic health records. NY state RN license is mandatory. Preferred trauma Level 1 experience and ICU floating experience. Comfortable caring for ICU patients in neuro, trauma, and other critical units. Additional Requirements Must not reside in specific NY counties. Must meet gap requirements for previous placements at specified programs. Ability to work flexible hours, typically 36-48 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours. Provide recent references and proof of identification.
