Hiring: Data Scientist | Stennis Space Center, MS
\nLocation: Stennis Space Center, Mississippi — 5 days onsite
\nNear the Louisiana/Mississippi border
\nEmployment: Full-Time
\n \nUS Citizen required — must be eligible for a Secret clearance ; candidates with existing TS/SCI are welcome
\n \nAbout the Role
\nWe are looking for a Data Scientist to support data-driven solutions within a Global Defense/Maritime environment. The role will involve analyzing complex structured and unstructured data, developing predictive models, and applying machine learning and data visualization techniques to support mission-critical decisions.
\n \nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- 5+ years of experience in data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, or data mining \n
- 5+ years of experience with statistical/general -purpose programming for data analysis \n
- Strong experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, or MATLAB \n
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data \n
- Experience developing predictive models, quantitative analyses, and data visualizations \n
- Experience with big data/distributed ecosystems such as Spark, Databricks, Elasticsearch, or NiFi \n
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or NLP \n
- Bachelor’s degree \n
- US Citizen eligible for Secret clearance \n
Navy + Data Science background is a major plus! Candidates with Navy experience and hands-on Data Science expertise are especially encouraged to apply,
