With our family partnership and character approach model, we focus on helping students develop their character and the skills they need for life through rigorous academics, self-discovery, and family involvement.Summer Operations Assistant Intern will report to the Director of Operations and assist with coordinating the safety and maintenance of the Middle School and Elementary school buildings. The Operations Assistant will assist with facilitating, recommending, and coordinating all improvements to the property as needed to ensure a safe, functional, and appealing space.Core Responsibilities & Essential Duties:Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.Reports needs and concerns to the Director of Operations.Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to the supervisor.May assist with the organization of space.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications & Skills:No prior experience requiredExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to lift at least 30lbsFamiliarization with essential security regulationsWillingness to contribute as a team memberFollow instructions and work towards servicing and improving the school environmentWe encourage high school and college students to apply for our internship opportunities.
