Litigation Attorney - Insurance Defense

Job Overview A law firm seeks a dynamic Litigation Attorney with over seven years of insurance defense experience to join their team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to client service and a proactive mindset, contributing to a modern firm with opportunities for partnership. Duties Handle a broad range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, construction, premises liability, and trucking cases. Manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Conduct regular court appearances, hearings, and depositions. Communicate with clients and prepare monthly status reports. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality work product. Maintain an average of 180 billable/collected hours per month, unless otherwise approved by firm management. Requirements 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience. Strong analytical, written, and verbal advocacy skills. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas. Dual licensure in Texas, Oklahoma, or Arizona is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Strong analytical and advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in managing multiple cases independently.
