Production Coordinator PT-Madison Magazine

Overview Madison Magazine is seeking an organized and detail-oriented production coordinator to join our award-winning team. This is a part time role, offering 20 hours per week, estimated. This role’s primary objective will be to keep all elements of the print magazine product — including editorial articles, advertorial inserts, print ads and special projects — moving forward to ensure all deliverables reach the printer on time. The production coordinator will work between editorial, design, sales and marketing departments and be the point person for all communications with the printer and other magazine vendors. Responsibilities Manage the production flow of all print magazine assets, including editorial, advertorial, print ads, and special projects Coordinate across stakeholders in editorial, design, sales and marketing to ensure deliverables are finalized on time Compile reports for printer, newsstand consultant, circulation auditors and other vendors Contribute to audience, circulation, and customer service duties Support all-hands-on deck projects at the magazine, including events, Best of Madison and other promotions Qualifications Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a project coordinator or project manager is preferred Skills: Ability to balance several projects at one time and effectively meet multiple deadlines; strong critical thinking and professional communication with coworkers and external sources/stakeholders; advanced proficiency managing timelines with calendars, spreadsheets, and other planning mechanisms; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of print production workflows and commercial printing processes; background in managing magazine circulation and audience development; experience with content management systems (CMS) and web publishing; familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) Benefits This is a part time position, offering 20 hours per week We are a small team of talented and creative professionals working together in a highly collaborative environment We are a dynamic, progressive, family-owned business that values our employees, culture, and community Benefits include 401(k), EAP, and paid company holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr Morgan Murphy Media
