Vice President for Business and Operations Gordon State College Are you a strategic and collaborative financial leader who is passionate about advancing student success through operational excellence? Vice President for Business and Operations (CBO) . The College serves more than 3,100 students and is recognized for its commitment to accessible, affordable education and workforce development throughout central Georgia. Reporting directly to President Dr. Russell Crutchfield, the CBO will join the executive leadership team at an exciting moment in the institution's history and help shape the College's future through strategic financial stewardship, operational leadership, and long-term planning. The successful candidate will provide executive oversight for budgeting and financial planning, risk management, contracts, fiscal project management, and other operational functions within Business Operations and Campus Services, including Bursar, Controller, Director of Facilities, Director of Housing and Residence Life, Director of Public Safety, Budgets, Bookstore Manager, Dining Services, and Finance and Administration Coordinator while serving as a trusted advisor to the President and Cabinet. The position also plays a critical role in advancing institutional priorities, enhancing operational effectiveness, and ensuring sustainable growth. Located in Barnesville Georgia, just south of Atlanta, Gordon State offers the opportunity to make a significant impact at a student-centered institution with a strong sense of community, a beautiful 235-acre campus, and deep regional connections. Ideal candidates will possess: A master's degree in a relevant field. Significant leadership experience in finance, administration, or operations. A proven record of strategic financial management. Experience leading multiple administrative functions within a complex organization, preferably in higher education. Knowledge of Georgia Board of Regents policies and procedures and State of Georgia budgetary policies highly preferred.
