Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contract position in a correctional facility. The CNA will provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff while maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Take and document vital signs.
- Assist nurses with patient care and treatments as directed.
- Observe patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Maintain clean and safe patient-care areas.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility security procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Perform other CNA duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- Must pass required background and security screening.
- Ability to work professionally in a secure correctional environment.
