Location Manager Medina, ND – Location Manager Dakotaland Feeds, LLC is a livestock feed manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Huron, South Dakota, that also operates four company‑owned retail locations. Dakotaland is a licensed manufacturer and distributor for Purina Animal Nutrition. The company produces and distributes dry and liquid feeds, minerals, and co‑products merchandised from surrounding ethanol plants. Dakotaland strives to achieve the most efficient methods to distribute livestock feed throughout the geography served by its cooperative owners. The key to the company’s success is its superior customer‑service‑oriented sales and support staff who go the extra mile to serve the needs of farm producers and dealer partners. The Location Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations and sales of the Medina, ND location, a full‑line Purina Animal Nutrition dealer. The role requires strong customer service and leadership skills and focuses on running safe, clean, and efficient operations while increasing year‑over‑year sales and revenue. Improving margin by operating and distributing feed efficiently will be key to success. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with employees and customers are paramount. Additional responsibilities include: managing all plant resources to optimize profitability and meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations; creating a positive work environment that supports continuous improvement and employee engagement; and supporting sales by promoting products, marketing and conducting producer meetings to increase sales. Qualifications Experience – Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Animal Science/Ag Business, or related field with relevant experience. 5+ years’ experience in sales or other leadership positions. Experience in program management and administration.
