About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience with HFNC, BIPAP Stable GTT management Post-operative care for CABG, AVR, MVR Experience in cardiovascular and vascular procedures Experience in AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA Management of NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS Familiarity with pacemaker monitoring Ability to manage sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and post-DKA Experience with respiratory failure and tracheostomy care Description: This position is for a 30-bed stepdown unit. The unit floats between critical care service lines. Candidates should possess experience with high-flow nasal cannula and bilevel positive airway pressure. Knowledge of stable medication management is required. Experience with various cardiovascular surgeries is essential. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in managing acute coronary syndromes and various complications. The position involves critical monitoring and care for post-operative patients.
