Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and family dynamics to craft tailored treatment plans. Provide teletherapy sessions for individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a wide range of mental health concerns. Monitor progress and adapt treatment strategies based on client feedback and clinical observations, ensuring that services remain appropriate and effective. Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Engage in regular consultation with colleagues to improve the quality of care and share best practices for client engagement. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health treatment. Fulfill any other duties assigned by management to support the overall mission of the organization. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our focus is on providing culturally sensitive and individualized care to enhance clients' mental wellness and foster resilience. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to practice independently in the state of Maryland. Strong understanding of family systems theory and its application in therapy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Preferred Experience Two years of clinical experience in a mental health or counseling setting, preferably working with families and couples. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques that enhance virtual client engagement. Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to client needs. Knowledge of community resources and support services beneficial for clients. Compensation and Benefits The LMFT position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
