Physician Practice Nurse (RN) Sign-On Bonus: $15,000, paid at 90 days Relocation Bonus: $5,000 for eligible candidates living more than 50 miles from the job posting location Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a physician practice setting? We are seeking a dedicated Physician Practice Nurse (RN) to support healthcare providers and clinical staff in delivering safe, efficient, and exceptional patient care. In this role, you will play a key part in patient assessment, clinical triage, treatment coordination, patient education, and supporting the overall quality of care. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while helping create a welcoming, respectful, and patient-centered environment. 15,000 Sign-On Bonus: Paid at 90 days. ~$5,000 Relocation Bonus: Collaborative Environment: Work alongside healthcare providers and clinical staff to support quality patient outcomes. ~ Contribute to patient education, preventive care, clinical quality initiatives, and staff development. Assess and triage patients in person and by telephone, using established protocols to determine appropriate care and follow-up. Conduct patient intake, obtain medical histories and vital signs, and complete health screenings. Administer medications and immunizations as ordered. Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, diagnostic testing, and treatments. Perform wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection. Educate patients and their support systems on treatment plans, preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up instructions. Communicate test results and coordinate care with providers and other healthcare team members. Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Support the training, orientation, and ongoing competency development of clinical staff. Mentor and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Office Assistants (MOAs), ensuring adherence to scope-of-practice guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. At least one year of nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and clinical support staff. Previous experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
