Social Media Specialist

Location: Houston Responsibilities Develop and execute engaging content strategies across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. Create, edit, and publish original content including videos, graphics, photography, reels, stories, and written posts. Grow audience engagement and online communities through creative campaigns and consistent interaction. Write compelling copy tailored to each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Monitor social media trends, industry news, and emerging technologies to identify new content opportunities. Track and analyze campaign performance, audience insights, and engagement metrics to optimize results. Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives, campaigns, events, and brand-building efforts. Maintain content calendars and coordinate timely delivery of social media assets. Capture content at company events, community activities, and special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role. Strong understanding of major social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and content best practices. Excellent writing, editing, communication, and storytelling skills. Experience with photography, videography, video editing, and graphic design tools. Ability to interpret analytics and use data to improve content performance. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
