Litigation Paralegal

One of our clients a Miami-based legal boutique firm are looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal. Strong, experienced Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of hands-on litigation experience. The position is based in Miami In Office M-F.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases while staying ahead of critical deadlines. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Florida state court procedures, Florida e-Filing Portal, discovery, pleadings, court filings, and litigation timelines . This position requires someone who understands that litigation deadlines are critical and who can independently track, calendar, and follow up on every important date and filing.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not simply someone who can prepare documents when instructed . We are looking for a paralegal who takes ownership of the litigation calendar and stays several steps ahead of the attorneys.

You should be comfortable saying:

• “This complaint was served, and the response is due in 20 days.”
• “We have a discovery response deadline coming up.”
• “This filing needs to be completed and submitted before the deadline.”
• “The attorney needs these documents for the upcoming hearing.”
• “There is a new docket entry/order that requires action.”

The right candidate will be proactive, deadline-driven, organized, and dependable , with the ability to identify what needs to be done before being asked.
