**Job Family:**Nurse Practitioner**Travel Required:**None**Clearance Required:**Ability to Obtain Public Trust**What You Will Do:** We are currently searching for a Research Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform patient care and scientific research support services to the NIH This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD. Weekend rotation work will be required.* Provide patient care and support patient-related activities associated with clinical trial operations and biomedical research support services.* Function within a collaborative team of clinical providers and clinical research operations staff to support the coordination and execution of NIH research protocols.* Support biomedical research protocols and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including patients and families, to enhance clinical practice and care.* Perform patient care and scientific research services in line with research protocols.* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and research staff to enhance clinical practice and care for patients and families.* Facilitate learning for patients and families.* Perform medical management of patients, incorporating critical thinking skills with advanced clinical practice and research skills.* Integrate research knowledge and evidence-based practices for patient care in accordance with clinical trial protocol requirements.**What You Will Need:*** Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program* Must have a fully active, unrestricted PA or NP certification OR be able to obtain certification within 60 days of application.* Minimum of TWO (2) years of patient care experience.* Experience in a clinical research setting and knowledge of research regulations.* Able to work a rotating weekend schedule as assigned.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred.**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Familiarity with evidence-based care practices is preferred.* Ability to analyze data, make sound clinical and administrative decisions, and solve problems effectively.* Demonstrated leadership experience.* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.* Commitment to professional ethics and patient-centered care.* Demonstrated ability to work in a team centric environment.The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
