Join us!This job is responsible for providing standard research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business. Key responsibilities include carrying out duties under general supervision and assisting teammates while following established procedures.The Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities Operations (GFICCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation, and settlements processes across GFICCO businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.Within GFICCO, the teams provide multiple services such as GFICCO trade control, settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.The Commodities Confirmations Team is seeking a Confirmation Analyst to join our growing team.This role supports the expanding Global Commodities business covering multiple products and instruments. Full technical training will be provided.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is intellectually curious, keen to develop, and has a great attention to detail all whilst working in a fast paced, diverse, and rapidly evolving environment.Responsibilities:Drafting Commodities confirmations vs ISDA legal confirmation based on trade bookings from the system of records (SOR).Affirmation of trade economics and chasing outstanding confirmations.Liaison with multiple stakeholders including Legal, Trade Control, and Front Office Trading and Sales.Review and resolve discrepancies on incoming confirmations from counterparties and electronic matching platforms.Measure trending client behaviors to identify candidates for automated confirmation processes.Review incoming confirmations.Collaborate with team members across all regions to develop and maintain globally consistent documentation process.Required Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in Financial Services1 year of Microsoft Excel experienceMust be client focused with a proven track record of excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to mitigate operational risk by demonstrating excellent attention to detail and having a control mindsetAbility to adapt quickly to changes in the market, regulatory, and internal business environmentMust be self-motivated and able to work independentlyExcellent organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize daily responsibilities while working accurately in a fast-paced environmentLogical approach to problem solving - taking ownership and offering practical solutionsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeCommodities Operations experienceKnowledge of Endur Openlink a plusStrives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutionsExcels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forwardExperience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learnerCommitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive changeParticipate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client baseBelieves in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect, and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the worldSkills:Attention to DetailCritical ThinkingResearchProblem SolvingAdaptabilityCustomer and Client FocusPrioritizationProcess EffectivenessStrategic ThinkingWritten CommunicationsShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40
