Job Summary

The Solutions Architect is a technical individual contributor responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing client-specific solutions within the Allvue Credit platform. This role partners directly with clients and internal engineering, product, and delivery teams to solve complex technical challenges, improve product adoption, and ensure scalable, high-quality implementations. The position requires advanced system expertise, independent decision-making in solution design, and the ability to influence technical outcomes across cross‑functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Own end‑to‑end solution design for client implementations, translating complex business requirements into scalable system configurations and technical architectures.
• Evaluate multiple architectural approaches and determineoptimal solutions based on performance, scalability, and client outcomes.
• Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with platform capabilities, architectural standards, and long‑term maintainability.

Technical Problem Solving & Execution

• Lead resolution of complex technical issues, acting as an escalation point for high‑impact client and system challenges.
• Diagnose and resolve data, performance, and system issues using advanced SQL and platform tooling.
• Conduct code and configuration reviews to ensure adherence to development best practices and architectural standards.

Client Advisory & Engagement

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing guidance on platform capabilities, best practices, and solution optimization.
• Lead client‑facing technical discussions, workshops, and training sessions to drive effective system usage and adoption.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes through improved configurations, workflows, and system utilization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Influence

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Customer Experience teams to align on solution feasibility, priorities, and execution.
• Contribute to internal initiatives that improve product functionality, implementation methodologies, and system performance.
• Provide subject matter expertise on the Allvue Credit platform and investment lifecycle workflows.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to independently design and deliver complex technical solutions in a client‑facing environment.
• 5+ years of experience in alternative investment technology, client delivery, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years of hands‑on software development or engineering experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in credit investment lifecycle processes.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate trade‑offs and recommend optimal solutions.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.

Technical & Systems Proficiency

• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server T‑SQL, including query development, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, data models, and software development best practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and scripting (preferred).
• Experience with Full Stack .NET development (preferred).
• Expertise in Allvue Credit Front Office Everest Platform (required).

Bachelor’s degree required
