Storage Engineer : State Street

We are looking to add multi-disciplined technologists to grow our ability to respond to technology incidents, security alerts, maintenance activities for various Storage platforms. This role is based in Irvine CA and is part of US based Storage team to support State Street and our Client's global strategic initiatives, including automation across all SAN/NAS/Backup Systems.

Must Have:

• Netapps Cluster Ontaps support and Veritas Netbackup support.
• Must know command line for Brocade and MDS switches.
• At least 5 years+ experience.
• Minimum 8 years of SAN and NAS administration experience.
• Bachelor's level or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering - if the candidate has the experience and no degree, the manager is open to seeing candidates like this.

Skills:

We are looking for someone who is a team player with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with at least 8 years experience on SAN and NAS platforms mentioned below.

• NetApp CDOT mode Administration
• Pure storage Administration.
• Hitachi SAN administration a plus.
• Oracle Tape Library/Tape Drive Administration
• Oracle Key Management Administration
• Veritas Netbackup Administration (Linux and Windows Master Servers)
• Veritas Netbackup Key Management Administration
• Brocade and MDS switch administration.
• Unix Scripting and global infrastructure support experience is a plus.
