Registered Nurse – Outpatient Radiation Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, No Weekends | 5x8s (7:00–15:00 or 14:00–22:00) or 4x10s (7:00–17:00) | No Call | No Floating | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient radiation oncology setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the course of radiation treatment
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the oncology care team
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and supportive care
• Accurately document patient information and clinical findings using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must not be a first-time travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in radiation oncology strongly preferred
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology workflows and patient education
