Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations.
• Manage active labor patients, including induction, augmentation, and response to maternal emergencies.
• Administer and manage care using advanced clinical procedures such as IUPC placement and EFM monitoring.
• Assist with cesarean and vaginal deliveries using appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Perform post-delivery care, including neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and discharge teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate smooth unit operations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in WA or Compact State.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with experience in high-risk settings preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate FHM certifications required.
• Proficiency in using Epic charting systems.
• Strong ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Proven experience with obstetrical triage and managing complex maternal-fetal conditions.
