Job Description

The Cloud Engineer will design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the Client System. This role will implement and manage cloud services, optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost, and ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available. The engineer will architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning, and establish cloud governance policies and guardrails. They will design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources, configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources, and implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations. The engineer will optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs, implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads, and design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads. This position will evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption, maintain cloud architecture documentation, and provide cloud expertise to other teams.

Must Have:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, or security

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

The base pay range for this position in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $106,300 - $221,100 USD.
