Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM), Monday to Friday. Schedule may vary based on department needs.

Job Description: The Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, medical infusions, injections, therapeutic phlebotomies, and central line blood draws. The candidate must possess experience with outpatient oncology and infusion procedures and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments.
• Handle medical infusions and injections as per protocols.
• Perform therapeutic phlebotomies and central line blood draws.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Varian/Aria charting system.
• Provide quality patient care while monitoring for any adverse reactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient oncology/infusion.
• Current BLS and ONS certifications; OCN certification is acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience in administering chemotherapy and biotherapies.
• No pending New Jersey licenses.
