Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Event & Building Custodian to support the daily upkeep and event operations of the High Point building. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and event attendees.

The Event & Building Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and preparing event spaces, assisting with room setups and breakdowns, moving furniture and equipment as needed, and coordinating with the Creative Manager regarding building and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces throughout the building
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings, programs, and events
• Clean event spaces before and after events
• Move tables, chairs, furniture, and equipment as needed
• Assist with setup of audiovisual or meeting equipment when required
• Coordinate with the Creative Manager regarding building needs, supplies, and event preparation
• Monitor cleanliness and report maintenance or repair issues
• Ensure spaces are organized, presentable, and ready for use

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move furniture/equipment
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for events
• Prior custodial, facilities, or event support experience preferred

Salary: $21.50 hourly
