Responsibilities What Awaits You

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory analysescovering fields like chemistry, hematology, immunology, and moreadhering to set protocols.
• Examine results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and carry out maintenance and calibration tasks on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for laboratory evaluations as required.
• Keep meticulous records of all processes undertaken, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold quality assurance standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while conforming to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree and ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of employment.
• Continued certification is necessary throughout your tenure.
