Location: Austin (TX) & Sunnyvale (CA) Employment Type: Contract Experience: 6+ Years

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with AI/GenAI experience to support SAP Finance and Controlling processes while leveraging AI and automation to improve financial operations, reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO, preferably SAP S/4HANA, along with knowledge of AI/GenAI, intelligent automation, analytics, and AI-powered finance solutions.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAP FICO
• SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
• SAP CO: CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules
• SAP Fiori and financial reporting
• Month-end and year-end closing processes
• Financial accounting and controlling processes
• Experience with SAP Universal Journal / ACDOCA
• Knowledge of SAP configuration and customization
• Strong understanding of financial business processes

AI / GenAI Skills

• Experience using AI/GenAI in Finance or SAP environments
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered business applications
• Experience with AI-based financial analysis and forecasting
• AI-assisted financial reporting and reconciliation
• Intelligent automation of finance processes
• Knowledge of AI-powered anomaly and fraud detection
• Experience with SAP Business AI / Joule is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and AI-driven analytics is preferred
• Experience with AI-based document processing and invoice automation is a plus
• Knowledge of RPA / Intelligent Automation is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Configure and support SAP FI/CO modules according to business requirements.
2. Analyze and improve financial and controlling processes.
3. Support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
4. Work with business stakeholders to gather and document finance requirements.
5. Develop solutions for AI-enabled financial reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
6. Identify opportunities to use AI and automation in accounting and finance processes.
7. Support AI-based invoice processing, reconciliation, anomaly detection, and financial analysis.
8. Integrate SAP FICO data with AI/analytics platforms.
9. Work with technical teams to implement AI/GenAI solutions for finance use cases.
10. Support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and production issues.
11. Ensure financial solutions comply with organizational policies and controls.
12. Provide recommendations for improving finance operations using AI, automation, and analytics.
