Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-energy Sales Representative / Inside Sales Account Executive for a direct hire opportunity in Charlotte NC, Fort Mill SC, Rock Hill SC areas. This role is ideal for a competitive, sales-driven professional who enjoys outbound calling, consultative selling, and building long-term wholesale customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Make 80 to 100 outbound calls per day to prospective retail and wholesale customers.
- Introduce premium kratom and kava product lines to new prospects and guide them through product selection.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, objection handling, closing, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to drive repeat orders and customer growth.
- Maintain accurate customer records, call notes, pipeline activity, and sales progress in the CRM.
- Consistently work toward new customer acquisition, revenue goals, call activity, and conversion targets.

Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Base salary of $50,000 per year plus commission.
- Performance incentives tied to revenue and growth.
- Onsite schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional remote day may be available, but the role is primarily office-based.
- Leads are provided and uploaded into the system.
- Training and support provided to help set reps up for success.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Drive outbound sales activity through high-volume cold calling and digital communication.
- Develop new retail and wholesale customer relationships in target markets.
- Manage sales pipeline activity, customer follow-up, and closing efforts.
- Educate retailers on best-selling products, margin opportunities, and product mix.

- 3 to 5 years of sales experience preferred.
- Experience in inside sales, B2B sales, account executive work, or high-volume outbound calling.
- Comfortable making 80 to 100 dials per day and targeting approximately 2 hours of talk time daily.
- Strong phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trust quickly, ask strong discovery questions, and sell consultatively.
- Competitive, self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, active listening, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style sales environment.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage follow-up, forecasting, and customer details.
- CRM experience such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or a similar platform is a plus.
